Lydia Fruth, Psychotherapist
Lydia is a psychotherapist completing her state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She graduated with her Master's Degree in Counseling from Crown College.
Lydia uses a variety of therapeutic approaches with clients including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Advanced Internal Resourcing (AIR) Network Model, and the Immanuel Approach. She desires to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process without judgment.
Lydia provides individual and couples therapy to women, men, and adolescents (14+) for a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, divorce and separation, relationships, affairs, low self-esteem, adoption, pregnancy loss, emotionally unhealthy relationship, adjustment to life changes, and trauma.
Lydia has over nine years of experience working with teenagers and adults in a social service setting and she completed her clinical training here at The Center for Hope and Healing.
Her special interests include helping women who have or are enduring trauma, marital discord or affairs, divorce, adoption issues, those questioning their faith, and stress management. Her faith in Jesus as the true healer guides her and is her source of life. She believes a work-life balance is key and invests her time in the outdoors: camping, visiting National Parks, hiking, biking, daily walks, beach days, fishing, and road trips with her husband, extended family, friends and her 7-pound Miniature Pincher.
Lydia accepts most major insurance plans with the exception of HealthPartners Commercial plans, Beacon Health, Magellan and Tricare. Please call our office to ask about your particular insurance coverage.
Lydia sees clients in at the Elk River office Mondays and Thursdays, Tuesdays via telehealth, and Wednesdays in the new Sartell Office (located within Chiropractic Performance Center, 2380 Troop Dr #201, Sartell, MN 56377.)
